Well another great year at Disneyland with our family. Time sure goes by fast when you are having fun. Perfect weather, short lines, what more could we of asked for? Well....maybe another visit in a couple of years.
We are so glad we could take our family. Building memories to last for a life time.
Grandma Gina and Papa Dabe....2008
Oops....Should of put this before Goofy's Kitchen dinner.

Dinner at Goofy's Kitchen

What a perfect way to end our week at Disneyland. A dinner at Goofy's kitchen to celebrate Kenzie's 4th birthday. By this time Kenzie had warmed up to getting her picture taken with the disneyland Characters. Love this picture of Kell....And the food was great!
Tea Cups anyone? One of Grandpa Dave's favorite rides at Disneyland.
Grandpa Dave and Nolan on Roger Rabbit ride in Toon Town.
How blessed are we. Being a grandparent brings so much joy. " Perfection " don't you think.
Just a few of us with Goofy....Kenzie at this point didn't want to be in any pictures with the characters. She was scared of them.

The fun begins....4 wonderful days at Disneyland

Grandpa Dave with his little buddy Nolan. Waiting to ride Nemo.
Finnished product. 3 beautiful granddaughters...Kenzie just wasn't ready for it all to end...
What can I say...just look at her. It was worth every penny grandma and grandpa spent on these sweet girls.

Club Libby Lu ~ Just for our girls!

Madison, Mckell, Mckenzie were treated to a special treat, getting their up do's, nails painted, make up with pictures taken for their special lanyard. This is a grandparent dream, but a parents nightmare...anything these girls could want was there. Our youngest little girl Ryan was much to young to enjoy this special treatment. So the saying goes...." It's a girl thing " was just for them.

Our trip finally begins......to the happiest place on earth!

Our long awaited vacation to my favorite place on earth " Disneyland " finally arrived. We left Saturday September 6 and headed to Henderson Nevada for our stay at Wingate by Wyndham. The kids wanted to take a swim, but it really wasn't that warm....but the kids didn't mind.

Casey , Courtney , Clayton and their families........

Casey and Sahra live in Provo with their girls. Not to far from us. Which makes it great for us, and not so great for them to have us so close sometimes. Casey works for EWS in Orem and currently is going to school. Sahra stays very busy being a new mom and working full time in american fork. I am blessed to have the oppurtunity to watch baby Ryan a couple days a week when I am off so Sahra can work. Courtney is the proud mother of 3 and right now is a single mom living with us. She works full time being a mom and at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Central Processing as a tech. She works mostly nights so she can be home during the day with her kids. At night the kids are with us so we don't have to go far to visit them. Clayton and Erin have been married since September 2007. Their biggest adventure has been to move out of happy valley to Henderson Nevada. We were able to go for a short visit to take a few things down to them. They have a nice appartment. Clayton works for Pepsi and currently is going to school. Erin just started a new job so she will stay busy now. I can honestly say its nice to have a place to get a way for a visit. We will be going often. Especially when it gets a little warmer. I like the heat, Dave does not. But he is good to go along with me. Dave has always said I am part lizard since I enjoy the heat so much. I think Clayton may be taking after me in that area.

Our Grandchildren.......

Madison Daisy - She is 8yrs old and our first grandchild. She started out very tiny weighing 1 lb 14oz 13 inch's long at birth. She was born early at 27 weeks. With alot of prayers being answered, you can see she is perfect today. She reminds us each day how wonderful it is being a grandparent. She loves to read and takes good care of her little sister " Ryan" who is 4 months old. We spend alot of time watching " Hannah Montana" on the disney channel. Madi is our leader in our family. Mckell - She is 6yrs old. She is the oldest of three in her family. She has a little sister Mckenzie and little brother Nolan. Like her cousin Madi she loves to watch " Hannah Montana ". She is very friendly and loves to talk, even if it is to a perfect stranger. One day she went to Sams with us. Her favorite thing to do is get pizza on the way out. As we sat her down at a table so I could get her drink I turned around and she was talking to an older man behind her. When I got back to the table he shared with me that Mcell was sharing her lunch with him. I think it will be hard to teach her the concept of " stranger danger". She is a joy and loves to talk. Mckenzie - She is 3 yrs old. And keeps us running in circles trying to keep up with her and all of her energy. She is always getting caught doing something she shouldn't. Her favorite thing to do is pick on her little brother...who weighs more than she does. She is very sly and will walk by and give Nolan a little nudge or push, which last week ment taking a tumble down our stairs. He had a nice knot on his head for a while afer that...I hope we can keep up with this little bundle of energy... Nolan - HE is 20 months old and the only boy in the bunch so far..And a pure joy to have . At day care he has a new assignment as the door greeter. No matter where we are he is always saying " Hi ". Right now his favorite words are " Please and Thank-you". It is so nice. But don't kid yourself. He can scream just as loud as the girls do. Baby Ryan - The newest addition to our family at 4 months old . So you can say she has everyone at her beck and call. She loves to be held, and anything she can get into her mouth usually ends up there. Her smile lights up a room and she can carry quite a conversatation with us. Even though we have no idea what she is saying.

A little bit about us...........

Grandma Gina and Papa Dabe....yes we are so proud to say that we love being grandparents. Dave was given his nickname Papa Dabe buy our granddaugher Kenzie ( short for Mckenzie ) who has a hard time pronouncing her " V" sounds. So Papa Dabe has stuck and he loves it. We have been married for 30 yrs. Have 3 children. WE have been blessed with wounderful daughter-in-laws. And hope someday that our daugher will find a companion she can spend her life with. Our pride and joy are our 5 grandchildren. Madison Daisy, Ryan Onna, Mckell, Mckenzie, and Nolan. Who keep us very busy from day to day.
